Hey, you know what's really fun about living in a house with a bunch of other guys? When you're in the shower and you're using the soap, and there's lots of hair on it. You can play a little game with yourself. The trick is not so much guessing who that hair came from, but what part of their body it came from.
So the past couple days have been absolutely freezing. It went down to -29 last night and tonight. It's ok though, cuz there hasn't really been any wind, and I don't mind cold so much as I mind cold wind. I'm starting to get sick and tired of my job. I guess I knew this would happen eventually. I'm starting to notice that my life is getting very repetitive, and the monotony of my job is only compounding that syndrome. I guess if I was really a get-up-and-go type, I could do something about that, but I'm not really what you'd call the motivated type. But I'm making baby steps. I started playing Age of Mythology just a few days ago, and so far it's really fun. I play games much slower than most people, so I really don't know much about what's going on in the game yet. So far it seems like Starcraft, only more complicated, i guess. Man, Starcraft was a sweeeet game. probably my most favourite of that entire genre. And now the newest game in the series isn't even on PC, but some stupid console. I dunno which one, and I don't care. All I know is that since Starcraft started out on PC, it should stay on PC, even if they do release it for consoles. I'm doubly ticked off, cuz the new game, Starcraft Ghost, appears to be a first-person shooter, or something like that. And anyone who knows me knows that I love First person shooters. Why can't people realize that the whole world is supposed to revolve around me. *sigh*
Do any of you read Nitz's blog. It's at this spot here His latest post, or at least the last one that I read was a huge long rant about the potential war with Iraq. Piss me off. He thinks that anyone who's anti-war is a coward. Well, that's (I really want to put a nasty word in here to express my level of frustration, but I won't cuz y'know, this is a family-oriented site and all) narrowminded. Maybe some people are anti-war cuz we don't want Iraq to trade one dictator for another. See, one good thing about Saddam Hussein is that at least he's not making people all over the world miserable. Maybe some of us don't want the entire world to be one big USA. Ya so, sorry for being patriotic. Gimpy and I were having an interesting talk awhile back, and my latent patriotism came up. I told him how I'm very patriotic, but it's usually inward, and visible to the privileged few. He encouraged me to express that part of me more. So that little bit was some of that coming out. The American McDonaldization of the world culture is making me absolutely sick. And no, I don't think that Saddam Hussein is fine where he is; I recognize the threat he poses to the US and other countries. I just don't hear enough people voicing the opinions I'm voicing.
Nitz was just in here, reading the first part of my blog, and told me I'm not supposed to be using that soap with all the hair on it. Numnuts, I'm the one who got that soap out of the linen closet.
And on that happy note, have a good night.
