Gee whiz, it's been awhile since I've been back here. Sorry about that. So it turns out I have one or two fans; I've been catching a lot of flak for not writing more often. Thanks for that, eh. It's nice to be noticed.
Who out there is familiar with the book/movie Christine by Stephen King? This nerdy teenager buys an old car, fixes it up, and the car's possessed and starts killing people. During the course of the story, the reader notices the car gradually taking over the kid's life. I've got a similar problem with my computer. It's taking over my life. One big difference is, Christine sort of magically fixed herself. My computer on the other hand, magically destroys itself. I told you about the problems I had with my monitor right? after getting it fixed once, it crapped out almost as soon as I started using it, and I ended up waiting about a month before I got a new one, what with having to wait til I had a chance to take it back to the computer store, waiting for the monitor guy to get back from holidays, then waiting for him to get a chance to catch up with all the work that had piled up while he was away.

After that, my hard drive did something weird. Just stopped working for whatever reason. I was phenomenally annoyed, of course. But my friend Kasper had been telling me to reformat anyways, and I only had a couple gigs left of free space, so I figured it was time to expand. As of this moment, the 40 gigger that I had originally is kaput. It seems doubtful that it can be fixed. But I've got a much bigger hard drive that is now working fine.

After that, about a week or two ago, the power supply in the case blew itself out while Jace was playing a game. Therefore, it's his fault. Asshead. I hate that guy. He's such a wad. But he's my roommate, so I have no choice. I went to Futureshop and bought a new power supply that has 100 more watts than the last one, so it should be good for awhile.

I bought Unreal II a little while ago. Seems I don't have a good enough cpu to run it though. Either that, or the video card can't keep up. Or both. I'm very bitter about that. Heck, even Jacen can play that game, since he bought his new computer. Hate that guy. Hate him so much.

Ok, let's see. I'm sure there's stuff going on besides trauma with my computer. I believe it's called having a life. Yes, that's it. A life. I read about that somewhere. Let's see. I'm still working at the same place. My boss hasn't gotten around to giving me a review yet, even though I'm a month overdue for one. That kinda bugs me, cuz I should probably get a raise when/if they do my review. That's ok, though. I'll just slowly do worse and worse at work.

Ok, this is gay. There's nothing else going on in my life at all. I'm sort of considering a different career choice than what I was pursuing, but I'm not totally sure about it yet, so there's not much to tell at this point. If you're curious, come stalk me, and make me tell you. Or, just email. I bought a sketchbook yesterday, cuz I vaguely remember when I was in high school many years ago, I used to really like art. So someday I may force myself to sit down and do something creative and artistic. We'll see how that goes. If I get into it, I'll work on something I can do in "computer form" (roommate's gf's special saying, which I like).

Now, to finish off, here's something fun you can all look at. A few of you have already seen this. Many thanks to Sarah for the technical assistance.

Ok, now leave me alone:)
